Our Transition to Co-Education
Mercy Convent Primary School is currently transitioning to become a fully co-educational school. This transition is taking place on a phased basis.
For the 2027–2028 school year, Junior Infants, Senior Infants, First Class and Second Class will be co-educational, welcoming both boys and girls. Third Class to Sixth Class will remain all-girls for the 2027–2028 school year.
Each year, co-education will progress through the school as we continue our transition towards becoming a fully co-educational primary school.
We look forward to welcoming new pupils and families to our school community.
