Our New School Campus
We are so excited to have finally opened our amazing new campus!
It comprises of a three storey 32 classroom building, associated support rooms, library and large PE hall and the future is certainly bright! Each classroom is fitted out to the highest standard with integrated storage areas, the most up to date modern IT equipment, including interactive whiteboards.
To match the new building inside we have installed a 3G astro surface, playground and running track outside.

ABOUT OUR SCHOOL
Situated in the heart of Naas town, our school has been a cornerstone of education since its founding by the Mercy Order in 1839. Rooted in a proud tradition, we continue to grow and flourish as a vibrant learning community. Currently a girls’ school with infant boys, we are delighted to be transitioning to a fully co-educational school. From September 2026, boys enrolled in Junior Infants will journey with us through to 6th Class. At the heart of our ethos are the values of manners, equality, resilience, creativity and empathy, principles that guide our teaching, learning and everyday school life.
The Official Opening
On Friday the 10th of October 2025 we held the official opening of our amazing new schooland campus! It was a fantastic day of celebration.
We were fortunate to be joined by many distinguished guests including past Principals Sr. Thomasina Finn, Ms Jaqueline O’Reilly; members of past Boards of Management, including Mr Tony O’Sullivan and local politicians TD James Lawless, Councillor Bill Clear and Bob Quinn.
Our talented pupils opened the ceremony with an inspirational rendition of the Mercy Anthem ‘A Better Way’. This was followed by speeches from the Very Reverend Bishop Denis Nulty, our Principal, Mr Cathal Ruane, the Minister for Education Ms Helen McIntee and the Chairman of our Board of Management, Mr Trevor McNamara.
We all enjoyed the beautiful music played by Rowan, Alice and Sophia, as well as the poem both written and receited by Kate.
The final song was an energetic rendition of ‘Best Day of Our Lives’. This day will certainly go down as one of them.
